Jesus shows us a much different approach to “authority” than leaders in the world. If we are going to be His followers, we must also follow Him in how we lead.

All throughout the Bible, we see that the best leaders look ahead. When we learn to lead from God, we recognize how today’s decisions impact tomorrow and prepare our people for it.

Leaders have a big influence on the groups they lead. When their first priority is loving God, their impact is incredibly good.

Music is an important part of life’s biggest events, and there is a place for happy and sad songs in our worship. Yet because of what Jesus accomplished, worship should be a lot more “wedding” than “funeral.”

As Christians, we have much more reason to sing than “because God says so.” We sing because He is worthy of our praise. We sing to be closer to Him.

Music has a way of helping us commit things to memory. God knows that, and that is why He encourages us to sing to remember, too.

There is ample evidence: God fearfully and wonderfully made us to sing! When we do, God shapes us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
