Barnabas was not one for the spotlight, but that did not stop Jesus from using him in a mighty way! As we humbly serve and encourage, God can use us to make an impact, too.

The Way changed James from a harsh skeptic of his big brother Jesus to a powerful voice proclaiming the good news of His reign. James was a man with a nature like ours, and if we will join him on The Way, we can change, too.

We know that Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life” - but do we really understand what that means for how we live each day?

Jesus gave His followers a very good mission statement that produced amazing results for the early Christians who followed it. So, when did it stop working? That’s the thing: it didn’t. We just stopped following it. As we each get “on mission” to be disciples who make disciples, we will experience true abundance.

The mission focus of Jesus gave Him the clarity and confidence to do the right thing, even when it was unpopular. As we see in part two of this three part series, He has given His followers a mission, too.

It seems like every association, business, and even club these days has a mission statement. With so much going on in the local church, couldn’t we use a mission statement, too? Jesus agrees so much that He gave us one, as we will see in this three part article series.

People are desperate for hope. Yet no matter how hard we look for it, we never seem to find it. Unless you are a Christian: then Jesus Christ gives you a real reason to hope!
